Multiplication Flashcards (1–10)

The core multiplication facts — 1×1 through 10×10 — as a ready deck: 55 cards with duplicate pairs removed. This is the set most elementary curricula call "fact fluency," and the one worth drilling to automatic.

Study or Print — Both Work

On screen: tap to flip, arrow keys or swipe to move, shuffle to break the memorized order (a deck studied in the same order gets learned as an order, not as facts). On paper: the print view lays out fronts and backs aligned for double-sided printing — print, cut, rubber-band, done. Physical cards still win for the kitchen-table drill and the car ride.

What "Fluent" Means

The working standard is about three seconds per fact, no finger-counting, no skip-counting up from a known anchor. Fluency here is what makes long multiplication, division, and fractions feel mechanical instead of exhausting — the fact recall has to be free so working memory can hold the actual problem. Five minutes daily beats any weekend cram; when the deck is down to a stubborn few, edit the deck to just those and drill the short stack.
